n Hilton to launch timeshare divisionHilton International is to launch a timeshare division to help expand the business. The former Stakis Timeshare resorts in the Highlands of Scotland, which became part of Hilton’s UK portfolio last year, will be operated by the Hilton International Grand Vacations Company. The division will be responsible for identifying new timeshare opportunities in the UK and internationally, at both existing Hilton properties and new locations.
n manchester airport cuts airline charges
Manchester Airport has reduced its airline charges for the ninth consecutive year. Runway charges are down by an average of 5.1% while passenger facilities and aircraft parking charges have decreased by an average of 3.4%. The reductions differ according to the weight band of the aircraft. For example, the runway charge for landing aBoeing 737-500 (55 tonnes) will be£431, a drop of 4.9%from last year’s figure of £453.
