FUTURE Travel has acquired the homeworking divisionof Yorkshire Co-op, Holiday Now, for an undisclosedsum.
Future, a United Norwest Co-op subsidiary, which has over 300 homeworkers, trades as Instant Holidays and Personal Travel Advisors.
A spokesman said all Holiday Now’s 50 homeworkers will be retained.
Alan Judge, general manager of Yorkshire Co-op travel division Sunwin Travel, said the company has decided to focus management and financial resources on developing its retail travel shops and superstores.
Future is developing various different Web sites including www.instant-holidays.com.
