Avis becomes sole partner
AVIS Rent A Car will offer pre-bookable car hire to JMC customers choosing holidays from the operator’s 2001 Summersun programme.Previously, JMC had used a variety of different companies, including Europcar and Holiday Autos, to provide car hire to its customers depending on which resorts they stayed in.
However, JMC has now consolidated its car-rental offerings and chosen Avis as its sole partner in this sector.
Sales and UK operations director Denis Wormwell said: “We have tied up all our car-hire arrangements into one main deal with Avis.”
He added that the pre-booking option had been introduced so that customer didn’t have to worry about renting a car after they reached their resort.
The price of three days’ car hire in Cyprus starts from £59. This rate includes local taxes and insurance.
