Win a 4-night stay in Sri Lanka courtesy of Aitken Spence Hotels

Exterior

On this four-night trip, experience why Sri Lanka is the perfect place for dreams to come true for holidaymakers that wish to stay in unique hotels, enjoy warm hospitality and discover natural beauty and world-class architecture.

Heritance Kandalama is an eco-designed hotel in close proximity to architectural wonders of Sri Lanka, while Heritance Tea Factory is a beautifully restored tea factory in the Nuwara Eliya hills – and is the world’s first tea factory to be converted into a leisure hotel.

Built to blend in with its surroundings, the Heritance Kandalama is one of renowned architect Geoffrey Bawa’s most eco-friendly designs. Integrating the rock face it nestles against, all of the beautifully-designed rooms, suites and public areas look out over a forest – which is alive with monkeys and birds – a lake, and Sigiriya Rock in the distance. Truly an eco-tourist’s paradise.

During a stay here you can really immerse yourself in the destination by plucking your own tea and watching its journey through the mini tea factory; enjoy a fine dining experience in a restored train carriage; or partake in that most British of traditions – High Tea.
