Air Canada has started its first direct service from Heathrow to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International airport.
The seasonal service will operate daily until March 24, 2023 and is part of the airline’s resumption of flights between Toronto and Mumbai via London.
Flights will be operated on a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft.

To celebrate the launch, the airline held a ribbon cutting ceremony attended by customers, staff and dancers.
Stephen Gerrard, general sales manager for the UK and Ireland, said: “We are excited to inaugurate our new non-stop service between Heathrow and Mumbai.
“This is a very special moment and we are pleased to provide greater travel choice to our customers in the UK with a direct link to Mumbai.”
