British Airways has announced a new direct service from Gatwick to Las Vegas for the 2023 summer season.
The British flag carrier already serves Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas from Heathrow.
The new Gatwick flights will run from March 26, 2023 to October 28, 2023, and tickets are now on sale.
The Boeing 777-200 service will operate three times a week on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays, with a lead-in price of £426, based on a return journey in the World Traveller (economy) cabin.
The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA) said the city saw its highest monthly visitor numbers since the start of the pandemic in July.
The Nevada destination welcomed almost 3.5 million visitors for the month and overall hotel occupancy topped 83% – with weekend occupancy rates exceeding 91%.
The LVCVA said the new Gatwick route is likely to be “hugely popular” for UK travellers hoping to explore the destination.
