British Airways will operate a second daily flight between Heathrow and Cairo from November.
The airline announced that the second daily service from Terminal 5 would commence on October 31 and would allow it to offer more connections for transatlantic passengers.
Neil Chernoff, director of network and alliances, said: “Our London to Cairo route is particularly popular with those around the world visiting friends and relatives, which we know is more important than ever for many of our customers.
“The new schedule also provides more options to connect onto British Airways’ transatlantic network, enabling us to bring even more people together. We look forward to welcoming customers onboard who will also experience our world class facilities at Heathrow Terminal 5.”
Outbound flights will depart at 09.45 and 15.20 until March 26, 2022, after which they will depart at 09.40 and 14.10. Inbound flights will depart Cairo at 06.50 and 17.45 until March 26, then at 06.40 and 17.40.
