A direct air link between the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man is being introduced to link the two financial centres.
Blue Islands is to run flights from Jersey on Tuesdays and Thursdays on alternate weeks from April 23 with a connection from Guernsey.
Aimed at business travellers, the service will not run during school holidays and the week of May 9 Liberation Day on the Channel Islands.
The airline’s chief executive Rob Veron said that the route would be of “true strategic benefit” and was being launched after a trial last year to assess its viability.
“There are many organisations operating across these jurisdictions, and current travel options are time-consuming, often with long-connections in the UK using multiple operators,” he said.
“Seats are available to book now enabling industry to plan meetings and appointments for the year ahead with the efficiency and convenience of direct flights.”
Jersey sustainable economic development minister Kirsten Morel said: “The new Blue Islands route between Jersey and the Isle of Man is very welcome.
“Our jurisdictions are both leading centres for international financial services, so it’s great to see direct connectivity serving our business communities.”
