Norse Atlantic Airways achieved its highest-ever load factor in a month in November supported by a rise in charter and leased aircraft flights.
The long-haul low cost carrier saw the number of seats filled rise by 31 percentage points to 92% from 61% in the same period last year.
The airline operated 352 flights and flew 94,612 passengers across its network and charter operations.
This represented a 94% increase in passenger numbers compared to November last year.
Charters and leases under ACMI (aircraft, crew, maintenance and insurance) arrangements saw “substantial growth”, with 128 flights operated compared to just four in November 2023.
However, only 64% of all flights arrived within 15 minutes of their scheduled arrival time, with “negative impacts” from air traffic control restrictions and airport-related challenges, according to the carrier.
Norse said that 78% of flights departed within 15 minutes of their scheduled departure time.
The monthly performance figures came a week after the airline secured $15 million in new capital and an agreement to lease out six of its 15 Boeing 787 Dreamliners from February 2025.
