Corendon Airlines has launched its first UK winter flight schedule, offering flights to Antalya in Turkey from five UK airports.
The airline offers three flights a week from Gatwick; two a week from Manchester and Birmingham; and weekly flights from Newcastle and Glasgow.
Mine Aslan, commercial director, said the winter season will follow Corendon’s first full summer season from the UK, which has seen “very encouraging” sales.
“Antalya is a fantastic winter destination, popular with couples and golfing groups,” said Aslan.
“We wanted to continue to build on the success of our current regional departures, so we feel this Antalya programme should achieve this.”
The one-way lead-in fare is £39.99 and the winter service starts from November 1.
Aslan said sales in the UK have been outperforming most other markets, adding: “Our expanded summer 2022 programme has been received very well with agents and the public.
“Whilst we have been in business for almost 20 years, the UK is new for us.
“We have spent the last 12 months building our brand amongst the trade and regional press and we are starting to see much higher awareness of Corendon Airlines.
“We will be looking to capitalise on this with a much larger programme for summer 2023, which is due to go on sale within the next few weeks.’
Corendon Airlines has more than 500,000 seats on sale for summer 2022.
