Bristol Airport has partnered with Katalyst Laboratories and Nuffield Health to offer a Covid-19 test service at the airport.
The private service, which opened on July 19, offers PCR tests with results available in four hours or 48 hours, and lateral flow antigen tests, with results in 20 minutes.
All tests are analysed at an on-site laboratory run by Nuffield Health with tests provided by Katalyst Laboratories, a government authorised distributor of rapid testing products.
The service is available to passengers who need a test before or after their flight to meet quarantine requirements as well as to locals looking for a test centre for non-travel purposes. All tests are carried out by trained professionals wearing full personal protective equipment.

Richard Thomasson, head of customer services at Bristol Airport, said all tests would be “highly accurate and meet the required standards for international travel.”
He added: “As we prepare to welcome more passengers to the airport, it is important that we can provide this facility to enable customers to easily access Covid-19 testing services before they fly.”

The Nuffield Health Covid-19 testing centre is located in the terminal near security on the first floor, and is separate to the NHS Covid-19 testing centre in the ‘Silver Zone’ car park.
