EasyJet has put 2022 flights and holidays on sale, with flights available to May 31 and holidays available to October 31.
The airline said it had more options on sale earlier than ever before as it looks to capitalise on forward demand.
The launch comes after it claimed a 337% increase in flight bookings and a 630% increase in holiday bookings for this summer following the government’s lockdown roadmap announcement on Monday.
Ali Gayward, easyJet UK country manager, said: “The prime minister’s address has provided a much-needed boost in confidence for so many of our customers in the UK and we’ve put more flights and holidays on sale this summer and next spring to even more destinations, so that customers have more choice to book a great-value getaway to look forward to.
“Our Protection Promise means that customers can book with confidence knowing that if they are unable to travel or their plans change so can their flights or holiday, and while the summer may be a little while off, we will be working around the clock to ensure we will be ready to ramp up our flights to reconnect friends and family or take them on long-awaited holiday to remember.”
Paul Bixby, easyJet holidays commercial director, added: “We know that people have really missed their holidays and can’t wait to book something to look forward to when it’s possible to travel again, so we’re really pleased to have put even more summer holidays on sale so people have more choice to book this year and next.”
