Emirates has reopened its lounge at Heathrow as the Dubai-based carrier increases UK flights amid rising demand, thanks to the amber-list status of the United Arab Emirates.
The Emirates facility is the only one in Heathrow Terminal 3 which allows travellers to directly board their flight without having to leave the lounge.
It will be open from 05:30 to 22:00 daily, offering dining options and a free bar with pre-flight cocktails and champagne.
The lounge is free for first and business class passengers.
Emirates will also resume chauffeur-drive services at Newcastle airport from October 15.
By the end of October, the airline will offer 77 weekly flights to the UK, including the six-times daily Heathrow operation, double-daily A380 flights to Manchester, a 10-weekly service to Birmingham, four weekly flights to Glasgow, and a four-weekly service to Newcastle.
Meanwhile, Emirates has partnered with actor Chris Hemsworth in a campaign inviting visitors to experience Expo 2020 Dubai, which opens on October 1.
Filmed before the pandemic in time for the original opening date of Expo 2020 Dubai, the advertisement transports viewers from Dubai’s beaches and skyline to the Expo 2020 Dubai site, bringing to life the event’s mobility, sustainability, and opportunity pavilions.
Emirates is the premier partner and official airline of Expo 2020 Dubai.
