Heathrow airport is seeking “thousands of new recruits” as a new jobs drive is to take off ahead the summer peak travel season.
Overall for 2022, the airport expects passenger numbers to be just over half of 2019’s record-breaking total of 81 million.
The London hub said vacancies are available across a “vast network of companies”, from service and hospitality teams to aviation and logistics roles.
It offers apprenticeships and entry-level roles, as well as more technical positions in areas such as airfield operations, driving and engineering.
Vacancies are advertised on the Heathrow Academy website, with more roles going live in the coming months.
Paula Stannett, Heathrow chief people officer, said: “We can’t wait to welcome more passengers back this summer. To get ready, we’re building our team of dedicated colleagues who love making a difference to our passengers every day.”
