Inghams urges agents to suggest lakes and mountains as ‘wildcard’

An additional £70 is being cut off Inghams lakes and mountains packages this summer as agents were urged to offer the option to customers as a ‘wildcard’.

Discounts of up to 30% have already been offered, with additional savings of £70 per couple tied to bookings to European destinations made before June 12.

Revised prices lead-in at £259 per person for seven-nights in Austria on a bed and breakfast basis departing from Birmingham airport in June, representing a saving of £390pp.

Head of agency sales Julie Franklin said: “With prices like these, our agent partners need not wait to be asked for a holiday to the mountains to suggest our great destinations to customers.

“They can now throw in a quote for this summer as a ‘wildcard’. I’d say, don’t be afraid to suggest Austria, Switzerland, France, Slovenia or Italy, even if not asked for it.

“Customers are looking for an experience, for something for everyone, these summer deals are perfect.”
