Extra capacity is being added by Jet2.com and Jet2holidays to Greece and Turkey for this summer.
Additional flights and holidays will operate from Glasgow, Manchester and Newcastle airports, providing “thousands” of extra seats.
More services will run to Antalya, Kos, Rhodes and Heraklion in Crete between May and September.
This comes just days after Jet2 disclosed that 2025 represents the companies’ biggest ever programme of flights and holidays to Greece, with three new destinations, eight new routes and more than 125 new hotels going on sale.
Due to continued demand, the sister companies have introduced Poros, Aegina and Leros as new destinations in addition to operating to eight new routes from Bournemouth, Bristol and Luton airports.
The additional services include:
- Glasgow airport – additional Monday services to Antalya from May 26 to July 14 giving up to seven flights a week.
- Manchester airport – additional Thursday flights to Antalya from July 17 to August 28 to give up to 18 weekly services, as well as extra Tuesday flights to Kos from July 8 to September 23 and new Friday flights to Rhodes between July 18 and August 29.
- Newcastle airport – additional Thursday services to Antalya from July 24 to August 28, giving up to nine weekly services, in addition to extra Sunday flying to Heraklion between July 20 and October 19, providing the only weekend flight between Newcastle and Crete this summer.
Chief executive Steve Heapy said: “Feedback from customers and independent travel agents is telling us that flights and holidays to Greece and Turkey are very much in demand for summer ’25.
“As the UK’s largest tour operator, we are continuing to react quickly to the demand we are seeing by adding on even more capacity, meaning this year we will operate our biggest ever summer programme.
“We are seeing customers and independent travel agents flocking to book holidays for this summer, and we are delighted to be offering more choice and flexibility when it comes to booking award-winning flights and holidays.
“We are looking forward to a busy and successful summer season and are confident that these new services will be extremely popular, as customers look to book their well-deserved holidays.”
