JetBlue has expanded its trade team with the appointment of Maris Kuklis as senior sales manager.
Kuklis, who previously managed trade sales for both leisure and MICE at Etihad Airways, will work alongside Claire Herbert on developing trade sales and partnerships.
The expansion comes after the low-cost American carrier announced it is expanding its services in the UK to the US.

Maja Gedosev, general manager for Europe at JetBlue, said: “We are very happy to have Maris with us.
“Together with Claire they make a strong team which is key to any success. We have come a long way in just a year, from a single daily operation to soon five daily flights across the Atlantic.
“I am confident that we are now perfectly positioned to work closely with the UK travel agents to further grow awareness of the JetBlue brand and our transatlantic product and services.
“We like to disrupt and by doing so we bring value to our customers and partners we work with, so stay tuned for more updates soon.”
JetBlue announced details of its expanded UK winter network last week.
From October 29, it will operate a daily departure from Gatwick to New York at 2pm, leaving two hours after its current midday flight.
