Loganair brings forward Newquay-Manchester route restart

Loganair his bring forward the relaunch of flights between Newquay and Manchester by six weeks.

The route was due to be reinstated for the beginning of the summer schedule on March 26, 2023 but will now restart on February 10. One-way fares start at £52.99.

The change will enable passengers to travel over the February half term holiday.

Other Loganair services to Edinburgh and Newcastle from Cornwall airport Newquay will recommence from March 26.

The regional airline’s chief commercial officer Luke Lovegrove said: “We’re very pleased to announce the early recommencement of our Newquay–Manchester route benefiting those with February half term travel plans.

“We continue to work closely with the teams at both airports and are keen to maximise the potential of this route in line with our continued commitment to UK regional connectivity.”

Amy Smith, head of commercial at Cornwall airport Newquay, added: “Cornwall is more than a summer destination and this February start, as a result of the demand the airline is seeing, is a good indication of that.

“We’re anticipating continued strong growth in passenger numbers next year and are very pleased that Loganair will play a key part in that as one of our valued airline partners.”
