Patrick Borg Hedley has been named as new Lufthansa Group general manager sales UK, Ireland and Iceland.
He succeeds Frank Wagner who has relocated to Berlin and previously held the position as general manager for three years.
London-based Borg Hedley will be responsible for the commercial and sales activities for all Lufthansa Group carriers Austrian Airlines, Lufthansa, Swiss, Brussels Airlines and Eurowings across the three countries.
He has worked for the German airline group for more than. 25 years, moving from a similar sales position covering Finland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
Borg-Hedley, who reports to northern Europe senior sales director Sven Thaler, has held several global leadership positions spanning Yemen, Cyprus, United Arab Emirates and Portugal.
