The bosses of Hotelplan UK, Miles Morgan Travel and the Institute of Customer Service are among the latest speakers to be confirmed for Travel Weekly’s Future of Travel Conference in September.
Hotelplan UK chief executive Joe Ponte, Miles Morgan Travel chairman Miles Morgan and ICS chief executive Jo Causon will join a line-up including Jet2 chief executive Steve Heapy, easyJet holidays chief executive Garry Wilson, Hays Travel chair and owner Dame Irene Hays, Travel Counsellors chief executive Steve Byrne, P&O Cruises president Paul Ludlow and dnata Travel Group chief executive Ailsa Pollard.
Other newly-announced speakers include Joanna Kolatsis, director of Themis Advisory, Chris Photi, head of travel and leisure at White Hart Associates, and Martin Alcock, director of the Travel Trade Consultancy.
The conference will take place at Google’s offices in central London on September 22 and continues a partnership between Travel Weekly and Google on the Future of Travel series.
In addition to panel discussions and presentations, the conference will also mark the start of a partnership between Travel Weekly and ITV, the UK’s largest free-to-air commercial broadcaster.
Delegates will receive insights into consumer trends, including exclusive research findings from the ITV Village viewer community into “the new rules of travel in terms of mainstream consumer behaviour”.
