Norse Atlantic cuts London-New York fares to £272

Start-up Norse Atlantic Airways is cutting London-New York fares to £272 return.

The sale rates cover travel from Gatwick throughout the winter until March 23, 2023.

The lead-in economy tariff compares to a standard return of £303 and comes as the airline cut the cost off flying in the premium cabin of its Boeing 787 Dreamliners to a starting price of £506 return from £611.

Norse Atlantic runs daily flights from Gatwick to New York JFK and to Oslo, with fares down to £66 return in economy and £133 in premium.

A total of 30,000 seats are now on sale across the carriers network, including Olso and Berlin to the US.

Chief commercial officer Andrew Hedges said: “There has never been a better time to book a long weekend city break to New York or to plan the holiday of lifetime exploring the winter landscape of Norway thanks to the Norse Atlantic sale.

“Passengers can enjoy direct flights on board state of the art Boeing 787 Dreamliners and explore further for less.”
