Norwegian Air tops one million passengers flown for second month

More than one million passengers travelled with Norwegian Air in November for a second consecutive month.

The airline’s one million passenger carryings last month compared with just 124,481 in November 2020.

Adjustments to capacity and route network for the winter season have been “well adapted” to customer demand, according to the Scandinavian budget carrier.

The carrier had an average of 48 aircraft in operation in November ands achieved a load factor of 76.6%

Chief executive Geir Karlsen said: “The result shows that we have done well in adapting capacity to customers’ travel needs.

“Spain is one of the markets where we have seen a good development in bookings.

“In the last month, we have made it even easier for customers to book with confidence by extending the possibility of one fee-free change even on the most restricted tickets.”
