African carrier RwandAir has taken delivery of its third long-haul aircraft to allow for further network expansion.
The Airbus A330-200 is based at the carrier’s Kigali hub to help expand operations with additional flights to Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
RwandAir will operate the new wide-body aircraft to its key destinations including London, Brussels, Lagos and Dubai.
The A330 has a two class configuration with 30 seats in business class and 222 in economy.
The addition of the new Airbus will bring the airline’s fleet to 13, consisting of three long-haul aircraft, nine short-haul and one freighter.
Chief executive Yvonne Makolo said: “We are excited to be expanding our fleet further with the addition of our third long-haul aircraft.
“Its addition will allow us to continue our route expansion and offer customers even more connections.”
