Ryanair is to run its first winter schedule from Norwich airport.
The no-frills carrier is extending flights to Alicante following a strong summer of operations from the East Anglian airport.
The service will operator twice a week on Mondays and Saturdays.
An airline spokesperson said: “We are pleased to announce our first ever winter schedule at Norwich which will see the extension of our popular Alicante route into the winter 2024 season, giving customers in the Norfolk region more choice for their winter sun breaks at Europe’s lowest fares and supporting important regional development through continued connectivity, inbound tourism and local jobs.
“We’ve had a strong first summer of operations at Norwich and we look forward to a strong first winter season ahead.”
Norwich airport managing director Richard Pace added: “We’re delighted Ryanair is continuing its Alicante service through the winter with twice weekly flights, building on the success of their first ever season at Norwich.
“We look forward to the continuation of Ryanair flights to Alicante, Malta and Faro next summer, which are already on sale.”
