Virgin Atlantic Holidays reopens St Albans store

Virgin Atlantic Holidays has reopened a travel concept store in St Albans more than three years after its closure due to the global pandemic.

The operator now has 39 shops open across its network.

Customers visiting the St Albans outlet in The Maltings shopping centre will be welcomed through to a bar, with refreshments from coffee to champagne, along with snacks representing each destination.

A dedicated area for children towards the back of store includes activity books, colouring and televisions with Disney shows and films available.

Virgin Atlantic Holidays vice president Liz Mathews, said: “A holiday should start right from the moment of booking and our immersive retail stores do just that.

“We love getting to know our guests and taking the time to create their perfect holiday, using our extensive knowledge and experience and we’re thrilled to reopen our doors to our St Albans store.

“We recognise that booking a holiday is a special moment, and we’re proud to be able to help our customers create those memories in store once again.

“With an array of exciting new destinations joining the Virgin Atlantic network, such as Dubai, the Maldives and Turks and Caicos, we’re confident that there’s plenty of places for our customers to explore.”
