Webinar: Malaysia Airlines pledges to restart daily flights to Kuala Lumpur by July

Malaysia Airlines has pledged to restart daily flights from Heathrow to Kuala Lumpur by July, with plans to resume services across its route network in Asia and Australasia by winter.

Daniel Bainbridge, regional manager for the UK and Europe, provided an update to agents in a Travel Weekly Roadmap to Recovery webinar, in association with Malaysia Airlines, where he also outlined the airline’s latest Covid-safety measures and testing of the Iata travel pass to help “unlock” travel.

Representatives from luxury Malaysian resort The Datai Langkawi also offered agents the latest news from the property, including updates on how nature and wildlife have fared over the past year from resident naturalist Irshad Mobarak, and selling tips for how the resort might appeal to guests looking for a post-pandemic escape from general manager Arnaud Girodon.
