Business Travel Association links with Trainline

A new partnership has been forged between the Business Travel Association and independent rail and coach travel booking platform Trainline.

They have agreed to work together to improve the rail sector for business travellers and rebuild trips by rail following the pandemic.

Members of both organisations will gain insights into the business travel and rail sectors, with data on domestic and international rail travel generated from the Trainline’s 96 million monthly users

BTA chief executive Clive Wratten said: “Rail is a crucial part of the business travel eco-system, providing essential journeys to commuters and business travellers every day.

“Having Trainline on board will be a great benefit to our members as we steam ahead on our plans for the rail sector.”

Trainline Partner Solutions president Champa Magesh added: “By working together, our new partnership will help the travel sector deliver the experience that business travellers are looking for.

“This will help rebuild journeys after the impact of the pandemic, which benefits the wider rail industry, and will also support business travellers to make greener travel choices – which  is good news for us all.”
