New attractions amplify the family fun at SeaWorld’s three parks in Florida

A summer of excitement is in store for clients who book a trip to SeaWorld’s trio of parks. SeaWorld Orlando, Aquatica and Busch Gardens have everything families could want for an action-packed holiday in the Florida sunshine, with rides, slides, entertainment, plus extra attractions new for this year.

Fun-tastic rides

Families won’t have to venture to the South Pole to get a taste of Antarctica. SeaWorld’s Antarctica Realm has recently opened, and will be home to Penguin Trek, opening on July 7, which will take visitors on a whirlwind snowmobile expedition through icy landscapes.

This family-friendly ride will navigate through twisting ice caves, before a dazzling finale, where guests will stop at the heart of SeaWorld’s very own penguin colony for an unforgettable wildlife encounter. And that’s not all. Weekly events to celebrate SeaWorld’s 60th anniversary will bring parades, performances and new food and drink options to the park.

Epic rides

Over at Busch Gardens in Tampa Bay, Phoenix Rising opens this summer. On this suspended rollercoaster with exciting onboard audio, families will be taken on a soaring flight over the Serengeti Plains of Pantopia.

There’s a new Rhythm of Nature ice show at the Moroccan Palace Theatre this summer, plus the return of Summer Nights, where more entertainment carries on into the evenings.

Making waves

Aquatica is home to more than 50 attractions, from high-speed slides to a sandy beach. New for this year is Tassie’s Underwater Twist, which spins riders through Australia’s underwater world, while exhilarating waterslides such as Reef Plunge and Riptide Race will get pulses racing. Little ones can check out the splash pools and jets at Turi’s Kid Cove, while adults relax on a trip down the lazy river.
