AE Expeditions has designed a new itinerary aiming to reach the northernmost tip of Greenland.
Its ship, The Greg Mortimer, will depart Reykjavik on the 14-day East Greenland Explorer itinerary on August 15.
The programme depends on weather and ice conditions, but the line hopes to head north towards Kronprins Christian Land, where the expedition team will design the daily activities based on the “conditions and wildlife opportunities”.

The line added the location is “not frequented by expedition cruises”, supporting its claim that it “pushes the boundaries of discovery to provide unique, immersive experiences for its expeditioners”.
The trip costs from £9,265 based on two adults sharing a Stateroom Twin room and includes overnight accommodation prior to embarkation, all meals, drinks with dinner, all shore excursions, lectures and transfers.
Savings of up to £1,000 per person are available on bookings made by February 28.
Hayley Peacock Gower, chief marketing officer, said: “Aurora Expeditions continues to focus on increasing awareness of the thought-provoking, and inspiring regions it visits, through immersive and educational experiences and create lifelong advocates of our planet.”
