Attraction World expands commercial team with two appointments

Attraction World Group has expanded its commercial team with two appointments.

The firm recently made a raft of senior appointments as part of a restructure of its commercial team a year after its acquisition by Ten Oceans Private Equity.

It has now brought in Kara Widdows from British Airways Holidays as US product manager and Charlotte Earless from Super Break as UK product manager.

Widdows said: “Having worked in the travel industry for over 12 years with many destinations over the world, the US is a real passion of mine.

“I am delighted to continue working with our US partners and look forward to learning more about the attractions and experience market.”

Earless said: “I am excited to be back working in travel after my time at Super Break. I am looking forward to growing the UK product offering for AWG as we continue to bring on board new distribution partners and diversify our distribution.”

The firm said it will open new offices in Birmingham this summer and has plans to open a US office.

Chief operating officer Justin Mahoney said: “Ever since we acquired the business last summer, we have strived to attract some of the industry’s top talent to help us globalise AWG. Being able to attract Charlotte and Kara to the team is a real positive for us.

“We aim to continue to attract the industry’s top talent to join us on this project.

“With many other roles to fill in marketing, business development and client success, it is going to be a busy summer recruiting.”
