AWTE opens nominations for anuual awards

The Association of Women Travel Executives has opened nominations for its 2023 Awards.

The winners will be announced at the association’s Annual Christmas lunch, which will take place on November 30 at 8 Northumberland, London.

AWTE chair Lindsay Garvey Jones said: “The resilience of this incredible industry and its people is truly phenomenal. With so many people going above and beyond in the last 12 months, this is an ideal opportunity to recognise those efforts.

“For 2023, we have introduced a new category, Mentor of the year, to recognise those who have supported others on their travel journey.”

Jonathan Wall, director of Ellman Wall, which is sponsoring the Mentor of the Year Award, added: “Mentoring and coaching is in our DNA – we guide our clients continuously as well as our colleagues.

“We totally understand the importance of mentoring and are proud and honoured to partner with AWTE to acknowledge the achievements of the nominees in the Mentor of the Year category.”

Nominations are open for the following categories:

  • Honorary Award
  • Ambassador
  • Mentor of the year Award
  • Social Impact Award
  • Inclusion Award
  • Rising Star of the year Award

Nominations can be made here before the deadline of October 31.
