Back In Time For Bed appoints four parents to new board

Back In Time For Bed (BITFB) has appointed four travel professionals to its newly created ‘board of parents’, which will be tasked with aiding the support group’s growth.

The board members are Julie Berry of Berry Consulting, Jemma Bridges of Club Med, Michael Young-Richards of Celebrity Cruises and Lucy Paterson of Do Something Different.

They will support BITFB founders Vicky Billing and Anna Perrott, of Riviera Travel and Panache Cruises respectively.

Billing said: “Since launching BITFB in February 2023, we have been overwhelmed with the response. Launching this special initiative of a new board will be a tremendous help as we look to grow our support over the coming months and years.”

Perrott added: “This is such an exciting time for BITFB. Our community is growing every day and it’s clear to see that this platform is needed. Please do get involved – we are one travel family.”

Berry started offering business consulting to travel sector clients after working for Thomas Cook for more than 20 years. She has three daughters – twins who have just turned 18 and a child who will start secondary school next month.

Bridges, a key account manager for Club Med who has been in the travel industry for 20 years, has two children aged nine and seven.

Young-Richards, a strategic account manager at Celebrity Cruises, has worked in the industry for more than 25 years, with previous employers including Tui, Kuoni and Do Something Different. He has a son who will become a teenager this summer.

Paterson, retail partnerships manager at Do Something Different, has worked in the industry for 23 years.

She said: “I wanted to join BITFB to help support other parents in traveI. I have experienced plenty as a mum of three, so can empathise with most parenting situations. I hope to inspire other businesses on how best to support employees with children.”
