Barrhead Travel takes 20 top sellers on VIP trip to Florida and Bahamas

Barrhead Travel hosted its second annual President’s Trip last week, taking 20 of its top sellers on a VIP trip to Universal Orlando Resort, followed by a Caribbean cruise.

The agents were drawn from Barrhead Travel’s retail network and its Cruise Direct and The Cruise Specialists brands.

President Jacqueline Dobson and sales and marketing director Nicki Tempest-Mitchell led the trip, alongside representatives from Universal Orlando Resort, Royal Caribbean, Virgin Atlantic, If Only…, and Do Something Different, who were all official travel partners for the occasion.

Barrhead Travel launched the President’s Challenge last year and hosted its inaugural President’s Trip in Miami in November 2023.

The group said the trip has now become a fixture in its diary alongside its Brilliant Travel VIP and top seller trips for its Managed Service Travel Partner (MSTP) and homeworker agents.

Dobson said: “Not only was [the trip] a great way to reward and recognise the group, but the experiences we enjoyed thanks to our travel partners will support the education of our people who I know will take lots of inspiration back to their clients and colleagues.

“Launching the President’s Challenge was a milestone in the revamp of our incentive schemes and we really see its benefit.

“As well as supporting motivation, it’s a really fun initiative that we see all of our branches and sales departments getting behind throughout the year. We’re already looking forward to launching the 2025 challenge.”

After a VIP experience in Universal Orlando Resort, the agents embarked on a cruise onboard Royal Caribbean’s Utopia of the Seas and spent a day at Atlantis Paradise Island in the Bahamas.
