Bedsonline has appointed Gemma Walker as key account manager for the Irish market.
Walker, who started in the role on September 2, previously worked at Newmarket Holidays as account manager for the north and Isle of Man for 11 years. She has previously worked in roles at companies including Jet2holidays and Thomas Cook.
In her new role, Walker has been tasked with growing and developing sales in the Irish market and strengthening commercial relationships with the bed banks partners in Ireland.
She will be responsible for training and attending trade shows, events and conferences with Bedsonline’s business partners.
She said: “I am looking forward to bringing Bedsonline’s extensive product offering to Ireland. One of the greatest achievements in my career has been transforming a relatively unknown brand into a market leader in escorted tours. This was made possible through working closely with travel agency partners to understand the support and products they require.”

Walker will report to Emma Foran, regional sales manager UK & Ireland for Bedsonline, part of the HBX Group.
