Carnival Cruise Line has announced the name of its new private port in the Bahamas will be Celebration Key.
The line said the new port on Grand Bahama will offer a “uniquely Bahamian experience” to passengers, with an “abundance of features and amenities including a one-mile stretch of white sand beach, as well as Bahamian-operated retail, food and beverage options for Carnival guests to enjoy”.
Celebration Key will have an adjacent pier capable of accommodating up to two Excel-class Carnival ships at once.

Carnival Cruise Line said at least 10 ships from multiple homeports will call at Celebration Key from July 2025, with the first itineraries scheduled to go on sale towards the end of next month.
The line anticipates Celebration Key will welcome two million guests each year.
President Christine Duffy said: “We are working very closely with the government of the Bahamas and the Grand Bahama Port Authority to ensure that we are highlighting the best of Grand Bahama and its culture, combined with fun like only Carnival can provide.
“Invoking the natural beauty of Grand Bahama, every day at Celebration Key will be a celebration of our guests’ own making with a variety of experiences and something for everyone.”
