Celestyal Cruises has shared plans to “quadruple” the share of the UK market in the business as it announces a recruitment drive to double its marketing team.
Speaking to media on January 9, Janet Parton, vice-president of business development for the UK, Europe and Australia, said the UK currently represents a “small part” of the line’s global business, but she has ambitions to grow the market rapidly.
“Our intention is to escalate the UK market quickly and deliver quadruple growth,” she said.

“At the moment, the UK market is less than 10% of the business, but we want to grow that to 15%-20%. To do that, travel agent partners are going to be pivotal and our door is open to any agents who are interested in working with us.”
To support the growth strategy, Celestyal has announced a €2.5 million investment in its “brand evolution” in 2024, including plans to increase its brand, marketing and communications team to 12 members.
The line plans to recruit for two roles in its brand and customer journey team as well as a trade marketing executive covering Europe and Latin America, a PR manager, a lead copyrighter, and a social media manager.
Anna Gregori, vice-president of brand, marketing, communications and customer journey, said: “We have a clear focus on our mission to create unmissable moments. We know our audience and we know how to bottle what makes us unique.
“We want to connect our customers to real moments of discovery and ensue our trade partners understand our product.
“We may not be the biggest travel brand but we aim to offer a wealth of opportunities for agents and be the best to do business with.”
