Classic Collection launches new Italy brochure

Classic Collection Holidays has launched a new Italy brochure and has taken 16 agents out to Sorrento to mark the occasion.

The 203-page brochure includes 42 new properties in its Italy portfolio, bringing the total up to 188 properties across the country and its islands.

New for this edition is the creation of two itineraries to Florence and Venice via Paris and Milan by train, in addition to selling the existing Venice Simplon-Orient-Express from Belmond.

Twelve new touring itineraries have also been added, but can be completely tailored to the traveller, including the accommodation and the daily activities.

There are also some luxury private yachts to charter, with tailored itineraries around Sorrento as well as Sicily and Sardinia.

“Brochures are really important to us,” said Si Morris-Green, head of agency sales and marketing. “And we know customers are going into stores again and looking for brochures which is really encouraging because then the interaction and engagement with the agent partners is massive and they can actually explain more about the product.”

The pricing system has also been replaced with new price brands against the products, of either £, ££ or £££ to represent its cost range.

The tour operator unveiled its latest brochure at the Grand Hotel President in Sorrento, with 27 agent partners.

“We’re all about doing something different. We want to bring the brochure alive, bring the country to our agents,” said Morris-Green. “It’s all about letting our agents immerse in the destination.”

The operator has also launched an Italy booking incentive for agents to win a Vespa. It plans to launch more of its upcoming brochures overseas, with nine more international trips scheduled.
