A new Club Med Experts training platform for the trade has been created to ensure agents get a better understanding of the all-inclusive brand and its offerings.
It comes as a new booking tool was unveiled to replace Easy Club Med, claimed to make indirect bookings easier and meaning less time spent on the phone.
Agents will now be able to find the best offers, compare products and services as well as add additional options to their bookings.
Those who make £85,000 in bookings will be given a holiday for two.
The training programme is aimed at those travel agent partners who are looking to diversify their Club Med offerings to their customers, as well as new agents who would like to build their knowledge of the Club Med brand.
Five levels are offered, with each containing a selection of short training videos focussing on various topics, including the brand, resorts, activities and special tips.
Once the training videos are complete, agents can test their knowledge online. Those who score 85% and over receive a diploma as proof of completion and progress to the next level.
Level one of Club Med Experts is now available for agents to access and the next level will be shared in the coming weeks.
The first level covers topics such as the all-inclusive package, Club Med ski, the new Club Med travel agent booking tool, Kids Clubs, Spas and must-try experiences and the new Zenventure holiday concept.
Head of indirect sales Clarisse Chapolard said: “Our travel agent partners are an invaluable part of our business, and we’re excited to be able to give them access to our new online learning platform.
“The platform will offer agents two new trade developments, which we hope will give them a better understanding of what our brand has to offer, and to ultimately make the booking process easier.
“We’re offering all our agents who reach £85,000 in sales free Club Med holidays for two, and we encourage new and existing partners to participate in the Club Med Experts programme to allow them to further their knowledge.”
