Marvel Avengers Campus has today (July 20) opened at Disneyland Paris as part of the park’s 30th anniversary celebrations.
The campus, which is the first Marvel-themed park in Europe, aims to bring the Avengers films, television series and comics to life, and includes live-action stunts, meet-and-greets with superheroes, attractions, restaurants and shops.
Guests can visit the Hero Training Centre to pose for photos with Captain Marvel or Iron Man, which will be captured using a “freeze frame” video sequence with 27 cameras.
Visitors can also sling webs from their wrists to capture “out of control spider bots” in W.E.B. Adventure, ride the Avengers Assemble: Flight Force rollercoaster, and participate in dance-offs with Star-Lord and Gamora from the Guardians of the Galaxy.
Dining options include The Fan-tastic Food Truck, American restaurant Super Diner, quick service restaurant Stark Factory and science laboratory-themed Pym Kitchen which has taken inspiration from Ant-Man and The Wasp’s ability to grow and shrink and serves food of all sizes.
Guests can stay at Disney Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel, which opened in June 2021.
