Dnata appoints Travel Republic managing director

Dnata Travel Group UK has appointed Henry Sunley to managing director of Travel Republic following the departure of Antonio Fellino.

Sunley has held the position of managing director for dnata brand Netflights since 2020 and has taken on the Travel Republic remit alongside his current role.

He will be based between the travel service providers’ offices in London and Leyland and report into Lesley Rollo, who was named chief executive of dnata Travel Group UK last month.

Prior to his position at Netflights, Sunley spent nearly two decades at Thomas Cook.

Sunley has replaced Fellino who has begun a new position as an advisor for ecommerce, digital, OTAs and tour operating for the Saudi Tourism Authority.

“I’m really privileged to be taking on the position of managing director of Travel Republic alongside my role within Netflights,” said Sunley.

“This opportunity allows me to utilise my varied travel and online experience to deliver on ambitious growth plans for Travel Republic.

“I know there are lots of opportunities ahead for these exciting brands and I look forward to working with my brilliant teams to provide exceptional holidays and flights for our customers.”

Rollo said: “In his new role, Henry will leverage his expertise and experience to drive continued growth and innovation across both Netflights and Travel Republic.
