Gold Medal and dnata’s other B2B travel brands have partnered with Tourism Australia and Travel Weekly to host a week of Australia-focused webinars.
‘Australia Week’, which starts on March 4, is part of a joint campaign which dnata’s B2B brands are running with Travel Weekly, its luxury travel sister title Aspire and Atas (Association of Touring & Adventure Suppliers).
Each day, a video will focus on a different sector of travel, including cruise, luxury and touring, in partnership with one of dnata’s brands – Gold Medal, Pure Luxury, Cruise Plus and Incredible Journeys.
Representatives from Australia’s states will join the panel discussions.
“Australia has always been an incredibly important destination for our B2B brands and consistently features in our top-five destinations,” said Sarah Lancashire, marketing director for the dnata B2B brands.
“This campaign allows us to dive into Australia’s unique experiences, while also demonstrating the breadth of our product and the experience and expertise of our team to our agents.”
She added: “The week of webinars provides a brilliant opportunity to showcase the strong partnerships and wonderful product we have across all the states of Australia.”
Lancashire said the dnata brands would also reveal details about an Australia fam trip during the webinars and give away two places.
Pete Mills, Tourism Australia partnerships and distribution manager for the UK and northern Europe, said the tourist board has partnered with Gold Medal to promote Australia for many years.
“By combining a week-long series of educational webinars and rich content with an amazing incentive to win a fam trip, we hope to provide some fresh inspiration and knowledge about Australia for all involved,” he said.
