Expedition Cruise Network offers trade discounts on ‘bucket list’ destinations

The Expedition Cruise Network (ECN) has developed a range of trade discounts to provide agents with travel opportunities to “bucket list” destinations at up to 75% off.

Trips are available to Antarctica, the Arctic, the Galapagos, Madagascar and the Mediterranean.

The ECN has launched a dedicated page on its website which it said will be updated regularly.

To access the discounts, agents must be members of the network.

ECN chairman Martin Johnson (pictured) said: “A common challenge faced by our travel trade members who are new to selling expedition cruise is a limited amount of first-hand experience of the product.

“Although a number of our expedition cruise members offer familiarisation trips, these opportunities are infrequent and often come with specific eligibility criteria.

“These exceptional travel trade rates give our travel trade members an opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of expedition cruising, not to mention visiting some of the most remarkable corners of the world including Antarctica or the Canadian Arctic.”

ECN chief executive Akvile Marozaite said: “The sector knows that by helping more travel trade professionals to directly experience expedition cruising, the more confident they will feel in recommending this fantastic way of travelling to their clients.

“We are delighted at the ECN to have worked with our expedition cruise members in creating an essential hub for the travel trade to access some truly fantastic discounts of up to 75%.

“We hope it will enable more travel trade members than ever before experience expedition cruising for themselves.”
