Adventure tour operator Explore has added four UK trips to its expanding domestic programme.
The new small group trips are Walk West Cornwall; Cycle Devon – Coast to Coast; Yorkshire Dales Walking; and Walk Devon – Dartmoor and South West Coast Path. They range from three to five nights.
Ben Ittensohn, global sales director, said: “There’s currently a huge appetite for exploring closer to home.
“Living in the UK, we’re so lucky to be surrounded by varied countryside, historic sites and beautiful beaches.
“This new range of small group trips are specifically designed for the domestic market, so our trade partners can offer their customers a range of trips seeing the UK in a new light, and in a way they couldn’t easily do on their own.”
Each trip can be easily reached by train and groups are escorted by a local tour leader who combines well-known sites with less-expected gems.
Explore’s agency sales team can offer agents assets and training to help promote the new trips to consumers.
The operator’s full range of UK tours costs from £495 for the three-night Cycling Coast to Coast holiday, from Whitehaven on the Irish Sea to Tynemouth on the North Sea.
