ITC has restructured its trade partnerships team, with a promotion for Gary Bates and creation of a second new role.
Bates has moved up from his role as trade partnership manager to the newly created position of national trade partnership manager.
Vicky McGlynn will take on the newly created role of trade partnership executive later this month, reporting directly to Bates.
She has worked extensively in the travel industry and joins the trade team from her sales role in Inspiring Travel, one of ITC’s brands.
Having worked closely with the trade team during her sales role, she has supported several events and engagement activities.
In her new role, she will further develop her account and relationship management skills.
Bates became trade relationship manager in 2019. His role will focus on commercial and strategic partner opportunities.
Di Selby, trade partnership director, said: “We are delighted to support employee career development across all our brands at ITC.
“This change recognises the amazing talent we have within the group and reflects our commitment and support of our people.”
Bates added: “Trade partnerships are paramount to everything we do and we look forward to continuing strong relationships with our key accounts, as well as nurturing new business.”
McGlynn commented: “Working with the trade has always been a focus of mine, so joining Gary and the trade team is the perfect opportunity for me.
“I’m grateful that ITC has a people focused culture and that they continue to support and recognise internal career development.”
Alongside Inspiring Travel, other ITC brands include Spectate, Regent Holidays, Rainbow Tours, Elite Travel Concierge and Deva Travel.
