JG Travel Group creates new agency support role

The JG Travel Group has recruited Chris Agbaosi for a newly created role to support the retail trade and partners.

Based at the group’s headquarters in Cheltenham, Agbaosi will take up the partnerships administrator post, providing administrative support to travel agents.

He will be the first point of contact for all agent enquiries, with responsibilities such as responding to queries, providing product advice, organising brochure supplies and marketing material, and managing the dedicated agents’ Facebook page.

Agbaosi will work across all three brands – Just Go! Holidays, National Holidays and Omega Breaks – and reports directly to Claire Dutton, trade sales manager.

He has more than 12 years of experience in the travel industry, having worked in various roles as a travel agent and for a tour operator.

Most recently he worked in the US for a touring business.

Dutton said: “The trade is hugely important for us, and we have created this new role to ensure we are providing agents with the support they need.

“Having a dedicated member of staff in the office who is their first point of contact is something I am sure they will appreciate.

“Chris brings with him a wealth of experience and I know how will be a great asset to the team.”
