The JG Travel Group has significantly expanded its river cruise programme for 2024 on the back of strong demand this year.
The group, which offers river cruises through both its Just Go! Holidays and National Holidays brands, has announced 12 different itineraries for next year, making the programme four times the size of this year’s.
The operators are also offering their largest range of no-fly options to date.
The cruises are across a range of European rivers including the Rhone, Danube, Rhine, Dutch and Belgian waterways, Moselle and Douro. The programme also features festive sailings and a Rhine in Flames summer departure.
Just Go! Holidays and National Holidays, which have again partnered with A-Rosa River Cruises to offer the programme, are operating coach breaks departing from local pickup points around England.
New for 2024 is a range of ‘meet at hotel’ itineraries, in which clients can make their own way to an overnight hotel in Kent by car or rail before meeting the coach the following day to cross the channel.
Douro is offered in the programme as a flight-inclusive holiday, with two additional nights in a hotel in Porto.
Once on board the river cruise, all meals, a wide choice of drinks and use of the spa facilities are included as part of a premium, all-inclusive package.
Agents can save clients up to £300 per person, depending on the cruise, if they book before November 30, 2023. Agents can earn a £24 per person Love2Shop voucher for all new 2024 bookings made by October 15, 2023.
Claire Dutton, trade sales manager, JG Travel Group, said: “This year’s cruises on the Rhine sold so well that on the strength of this demand we’ve increased our programme significantly.
“Our no-fly options are great for agents to promote to those customers who prefer not to fly, and our new meet at the hotel itineraries add even greater flexibility.
“Early bookers can take advantage of some great savings, plus of course we want to make sure we reward agents too with our incentive.”
A nine day A Journey through Beautiful Provence by coach costs from £1,769, including a £230 early bird discount. Departing May 11 and June 15, 2024, from a range of pickup points in England, the price includes return coach travel, ferry crossings, six nights on A-Rosa Stella on an all inclusive basis, plus the first and last night in France on a bed and breakfast basis.
