Just Go Holidays reaps benefits of trade investment as sales soar

Just Go Holidays has reported a “bumper” first two weeks of January, with bookings through agents up 28% year on year.

The coach tours specialist said it has seen increased demand for domestic and European holidays, with bookings of UK breaks up 23% year on year, and European bookings up 42% over the same period.

In terms of durations, five-day coach breaks are selling “exceptionally well” with bookings up 35% in the last two weeks, it said.

Claire Dutton, trade sales manager at Just Go Holidays, said: “Over the last 12 months we’ve significantly grown awareness of Just Go Holidays through the trade and it is so encouraging that it is paying off.

“We are engaging with more agents that ever before, be it through our Facebook page, our incentives and giveaways or the many events and shows we attend.

“Joining Tipto recently has definitely helped raise our profile further and ensure that agents are adding us to the mix during their sales process.

“I am particularly encouraged by the growth in our five-day breaks and European holidays.

“As a business we’ve been developing our products to encourage customers to book longer duration, higher-value classic UK touring and European holidays.

“Longer stays help drive up the booking value which for agents, means greater earning potential.”

The operator’s ‘Golden Ticket’ peaks incentive offering the chance to win Northern Lights flights runs until February 25.
