The Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board has released a trade webinar highlighting the city as a destination for sports fans.
The 26-minute video includes information on major sporting events hosted in Los Angeles, the local teams and their seasons of play and how to purchase tickets.
It also promotes athletic experiences available beyond spectator sports, with information on stadium tours, golf courses and motorsports.
Agents will be provided with tools to help sell sports-themed holidays, including training portals, social media groups and e-newsletters.
Kathleen Brown, travel trade manager from the Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board, said: “Los Angeles has become a sports capital for spectators and participants, with more and more people from all over the world heading here to get a piece of the action.
“This webinar is a great way to be prepared for those enquiries.”
