Leger Holidays to increase prices in May

Escorted tour operator Leger Holidays has written to customers to warn them that the company will have to increase its prices next month.

From May 2, the prices of its holidays will increase by between 5% and 10%, according to an email titled ‘Our prices are changing, but our holidays aren’t!’

Customers who have already booked will not be affected and the firm urges would-be holidaymakers to book in the coming weeks.

The email from chief executive Liam Race said: “Due to the current situation regarding the rising cost of living and fuel, there have been increases in rates for accommodation and transport.

“We are currently absorbing the majority of these costs, but in order to maintain fantastic quality and levels of service, reviewing our prices is necessary.”

He added: “We always strive to provide the very best value, and will only be increasing our prices by the absolute minimum we need to – we hope you can understand that this is in response to the changing world around us.

“If you’ve already booked, you don’t need to worry as the new pricing won’t affect any existing bookings, and with a few weeks to go until our price increase, if you haven’t yet planned your next holiday, now really is the perfect time to take advantage of our current prices and get your next break in the diary!”
