Newmarket adds tours to Africa and Latin America programmes

Newmarket Holidays has launched new long-haul holidays to the Victoria Falls and Mexico as part of the company’s expansion in Africa and Latin America.

Richard Forde, head of trade Sales at the escorted tour specialist, said: “Safaris and long-haul tour and beach adventures have been big sellers for our travel agent partners over the past year, so we are thrilled to be adding two outstanding new tours that the trade can get behind in 2023.”

Located on the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe, Victoria Falls is one of the world’s largest waterfalls.

On Safari in Victoria Falls features land and river safari experiences through Zambezi National Park and along the Zambezi and Chobe rivers.

The 10-day tour costs from £2,755, departing Heathrow from September to December 2023.

Kathy Vigolo, head of long-haul at Newmarket, added: “Customers will follow in the footsteps of David Livingstone in search of the mighty Victoria Falls.

“This tour offers a perfect blend of the greatest southern African highlights, from the falls to memorable safaris in Botswana and Zimbabwe.”

The Mexico – Mayan Adventure and Caribbean Island tour mixes archaeological sites, natural wonders and beach days, with guided trips to important Mayan cities including Chichén Itzá and Palenque.

The 13-day tour costs from £2,622, departing Gatwick from September to December 2023,

Vigolo added: “With excursions including the cliff-topping Mayan ruins of Tulum National Park, Lacandon Jungle and the riverside Yaxchilan ruins, this tour offers a great balance of impressive archaeological sites, natural hidden wonders and time to relax.”

Both new tours are included in Newmarket Holidays’ See It, Share It, Book It promotional campaign for travel agents, which includes a discount of 10% off all 2022, 2023 and 2024 tours for bookings made before November 11, 2022.
